Munificent Moses Lived to see his people find the Promised Land through the Black Sea

Jesus our Christ wants to put on the whole armor of God so that He can take the full mightiness of our sins and be cleansed of them. This is the only thing He wants to share with us. He’s the Incarnation of God. Let’s receive the biggest gift of all…the gift of His heart.

It’s funny how the best conversations start. It starts because of a healthy exchange of a few lines, a smile, and a compliment or two. Those small lines build and an exchange of words occurs and soon hearts are exchanging hundreds of thousands of words all because of a smile and a compliment or two.

These exchanges in the exchange of words take place all around us: in the grocery store; in stores; at the sear line; behind the counter; behind a person and even inside the lock. There’s a giant exchange of words taking place all around us and in the lives of everyone who encounters them. That’s great! Even the Internet has become a giant network of commerce on which billions of words are traded all the time.

So, in reflecting on this, I found my conversation with “Munificent Moses” whereby I learned of his encounter with the Philistines. For you see, Moses had been on his way to Egypt when the Israelites were pursuing him. He had exhausted all his resources, even his forged weapons often, at the end of which the Lord simply took his life. Munificent Moses lived to see his people find the promised land through the Black Sea and all except one woman blessed him. That one woman, a Moabite, spoke for mankind. She said, “The Lord is with you.” (Exodus 15:26)

So, after Moses died, his son-in-law, Aaron, took charge of leading the Israelites across the Jordan River back to the promised land. On the way, they were at a standstill due to the diviners (prophets) of Israel who were unable to predict the exact path. But, Aaron knew that each tribe would cross the Jordan in a different way. If they could follow the wrong way, they would go to the wrong destination. But if they followed the right way, they would reach their destination.

Due to the uncertainty, the journey became a constant struggle between the Israelites and the priests. Then, as commotion arose over the choice of the black plague sheep (ichor), Aaron finally called for a volunteer who would brave the whip and the chanting of the priestesses’ melodious songs and give an accurate description of the spiritual journey back to the land of the Jews.

Only one person volunteered. Moses was black like a lamb and he had a white mark on his sole. Everyone else was white except for one small mistake that apparently didn’t take into consideration: His name is Onkelon Small Courageous, the Mighty One. Today, his name is filled with honor and glory in the Holy Kingdom of our God, King Jesus!

well, Munificent Moses didn’t need a map and he was already a map expert. His knowledge of the way was very obvious. But, his arrogance must have blocked him and prevented him from considering any possible error in his plans. This was the same condition that made him keep trudging along with the aid of his friends without being able to seek help and guidance.

All along Moses was provided with the help he needed from Creator, but he was unwilling to admit this most fundamental truth. Then, when things got off track, and the Israelites were hemmed in by the Jordan River, Moses inevitably asked for help again, but this time from God.
