Is Vitamin Water Vegan – What are Vitamins?
You might be wondering what a “vitamin” is at this point. It is a reasonable query. According to Medical News Today, vitamins are organic substances that our bodies require in minute amounts in order to function. The majority of vitamins are substances that the body cannot or only moderately produces, and they are obtained from foods.
Vitamins A, B, C, D, E, and K are among the 13 necessary vitamins, along with an additional 8 vitamins from the B complex. Vitamins come in two different forms: fat- and water-soluble. Vitamin C and the B vitamins are water-soluble vitamins. These vitamins pass through the body through the urine since they are water-soluble and do not stay in the body for very long. Because of this, you can consume large amounts of vitamin C without experiencing any adverse effects.
The vitamins A, D, E, and K are fat-soluble. These vitamins are kept in the liver and fatty tissues. They can be kept for longer periods of time in the body.
What additional vitamins are added?
B vitamins and vitamin C are the two vitamins that are most frequently present in vitamin waters. Minerals are also added to some vitamin waters. For instance, while Sparkling Ice does not, Glacéau Vitamin Water does.
