God’s Word Blindness

Now, this is not all bad news, as in Him being altered to suit our desires. As a matter of fact, if we could learn to hold onto this knowledge in faith, it would be a life-changer for us, making it possible to persevere in spite of the blindness of Human Understanding. In the Book of Isaiah, we are told:

Christianity: not as a denomination, not as a group, but as a fellowship of Believers. What fellowship? Just another faith, another body of believers. Not as a religious body, but as a group of persons who believe in Jesus Christ. Not as a church, but as a company of fellow believers in one God. Not as a denomination, but as a club of those who believe in the one, true, living Word of God. Not as a religious organization, but as a club of those who love the same thing: “Abba – Father.”

He is the rock I built my house upon. And in Him, I have perfect peace; His Spirit makes my feet to walk on the fiery bridges. He is the marketplace; in Him, I have bid farewell to the strife of men – He provided a new thing This is the way, walk in the cloud. What I have in Him I have gained in the world. He is my stronghold, my refuge, and in Him, I have perfect peace. (Habakkuk 3:17-19)

cornerstone or foundation of my life is this: Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. He has not changed. This is why I can sit back, relax, put my feet up, and trust in Him to take care of the rest of my life, knowing He is in control.

Don’t seeking excuses for all your sins

For the lenses of my heart, and for the fear of the Lord, I have ignored my vows; I have broken the law. What can I say? I have put my trust in the Gods instead of keeping my appointment with God. I have really neglected my prior promises.

Why are you seeking excuses for your sins? For He Who knows the thoughts of the heart knows that the innocent ones are they of his own flesh. He ailments not the walks with the wise neither does He reject the upright. Neither does He delight in the godly man, but in the upright is He not. He is not His own, He will not behave unseemly toward the innocent. Or do you not judge and you have cleansed your hands? But with the corrupt measure you have measured out, He will use it and make havoc with the measure you give.

See that you do not set your brother against his brother, nor give place to the devil. You are not high-minded, but you submit to those who have small minds. They so devise evil devices, to go ahead and catch the hearers unawares. For the devil, himself is transformed into an angel of light. Because it is not you, He does not condemn the unrighteous to death, nor does He cast out demons. “If they can’t give Their life to Jesus, the Bible says they deserve to die!”

In conclusion, God can give us the courage we need to face the enemy and win. As we face the enemy and his tactics, we must remember that we do not fight against people of flesh and blood, but against the evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. (Ephesians 6:12, NLT).
