On the other hand, the god of the old testament is a wrathful god who desires to inflict punishment on humanity. Additionally, the new testament god is a god of love, mercy, and forgiveness, while the old testament god is a god of wrath, vengeance, and cruelty.

The gods in the Old Testament are different from the gods in the New Testament. The main difference is that Jesus is the only true God. Christians also believe that through faith in Jesus, people can be forgiven and have eternal life. Jesus is the only one who can save us from our sins, and through Him, we can have eternal life.
The gods in the Old Testament are wrathful and punish people eternally, while the god in the New Testament is loving and compassion. We can see the differences between the old and new testament gods by looking at how people worshipped them.
Jews would not worship any other god besides Yahweh while Christians worshipped both Yahweh and Jesus Christ as one God.
